Two of my favorite artists, Baauer and AlunaGeorge (whom I’ve blogged about before) collab together to bring us “One Touch” with additional support from up-and-comer Rae Sremmurd (of “No Flex Zone”, and “No Type” fame). Baauer’s smooth sultry beats meld perfectly with Aluna’s beautiful vocals, and Rae Sremmurd also seems at home on this track while making Dragon Ball Z references and the like…
As a commenter on YouTube put it, Rae Sremmurd is not their favorite rapper, he is going “mainstream” and his two hits getting airplay are not quite exactly deep, meaningful “hip-hop”. However, his verses fit right at home on this track making for one of the more interesting EDM/Rap collabo’s of 2014.
