[Remixes:] Without Me (Illenium Remix) – Halsey
Halsey’s “Without Me” is enjoying national and international radio play as well as good positioning on the music charts. Now, dance music giant, Illenium, has remixed her hit single taking the song to new heights and adding great depth to the track. Halsey, once again, has this remix uploaded on her official YouTube account. Something I first noticed when looking up Autograf’s equally entrancing remix of her song “Bad At Love” after hearing it at Shaky Beats. This shows Halsey supports the artists and DJs who remix her music and is happy to promote them.
Illenium’s signature sound, cascading rhythms and layers of sound, heavily ambient waves of synths and sound add great atmosphere to the original version. These are accentuated by vocal samples of Halsey and an acoustic guitar softly plucking in the background.
Both drops, while not super heavy festival or rage out of your mind style drops, instead opt for an endearing eruption of majestic, magnificent soundscapes that sound like they’d be more at home at a symposium or in an orchestra, than a rave.
