[House/Bass:] Beat Like – ATRIP
Popular producer ATRIP has done it again with “Beat Like”, a house tune filled with bass, and eccentric yet coordinated aural madness. Familiar rhythm structures for the artist enjoy some bass house treatment while still retaining the zany sounds and samples that characterize ATRIP’s music. His songs are very Joyride-esque, you’d swear they were brothers. House vocal samples along with some trappy snares and distorted synths phase shift to a trap section in the latter half of the track.
Shufflers will love this one with it’s very snappy beat and easy to pick up rhythm.

[House:] French Fries – Honey & Badger & kramder
Confession label’s Honey & Badger delight us with the infectiously jazzy house number, “French Fries”. Hosted by the Confession label, this cut is off the Belgian artists Grand Palace II extended play. Classic house vibes, bouncy piano chords and nostalgia inducing samples meld, with support from label mate kramder for a genuine take on the genre and its origins.

[Throwbacks:] Odessa – Caribou (featured in FIFA ’11)
This eclectic little number comes from an era twas rife with alternative electronic acts like Caribou. Released in 2010, a few years before, acts like MGMT and Empire of the Sun were transforming alternative rock and electronic music while channeling sounds of the 80s rock scene.
“Odessa” was featured in FIFA ’11, the worldwide hit soccer video game from EA Sports, well known for its varied soundtracks. Take some time and drift away to these entrancing sounds.
[Hip-Hop/Rap:] Mile High (feat. Travis Scott & Metro Boomin)
Got a real wavy one to share with you all. British producer James Blake collabs with rappers Travis Scott and Metro Boomin’ on “Mile High”. An ambient hip-hop number with influences of soul and R&B, met with the lit flair Scott and Boomin’ often bring. James Blake’s contrasting vocals to the raps create a harmonic atmosphere of relaxing, yet energetic vibes.

[Bass House/Hip-Hop:] BOSS (BROHUG Remix) – Lil’ Pump
Although this track is actually a bit old now, I’d be remiss if I didn’t feature this absolutely slammin’ BROHUG remix of Lil’ Pump’s “Boss.” BROHUG bring their signature sound to the track and step its energy up while retaining its swag.
Be sure to also check out BROHUG’s more recent remix of Lil’ Pump and Kanye West’s “I Love It.” Check out more from the bass house trio, BROHUG, on their Soundcloud.
[House:] Gusher – Kramder
House producer and Confession label DJ, Kramder, released a track for pure House heads. “Gusher” is a modern throwback to the essential house of the late 90s and early 2000s. Vibrant sounds and samples amid a steady BPM that keeps the dance floor groovin’. Both light and not too serious; the essence of what house music is/was about. Be sure to check it out!
