[House:] Justin Martin – Stay (feat. Dalilah) [Tchami Remix]

Tchami’s remix of Justin Martin’s “Stay” is the old Tchami many of us fell in love with back in 2013.

Stay (feat. Dalilah) [Tchami Remix] – Justin Martin

You know what I need, you know how to please, you know how to be… I don’t wanna stay

It’s hard not to dance to this banger of a tune from Justin Martin, remixed by Tchami. “Stay” with vocal assistance from Dalilah, just as the lyrics explain, knows what we need. This song is everything we need. This is the Tchami that I fell in love with in 2013 after hearing classics like “Go Deep”, “Promesses” and his remix of French Montana’s “Shot Caller”.

The blurred lines between future house, big room and ambient chill-out music bring back memories that I thought were locked away in my mind from almost a decade ago. I feel happy to have them return and can’t help but smile when I listen to this tune.

[Deep House/Future House:] Malaa – We Get Crunk

[Deep House:] Malaa – We Get Crunk

French Bass and Future House producer Malaa does it again with “We Get Crunk.” G-House samples and vibes meld well with a more deep/tech-house feel or vibe making a heavy track that mixes well as a great transitory tune into the next floor filler.

Malaa and his Confession label mate Tchami have been on fire recently releasing new music and touring all around the US and Europe.

Listen to the track on Spotify or other music services here.

Be sure to check out more from the Confession label on their YouTube page.

[Dark House/Future House:] Rootkit – Take A Shot

Off the Alchemy Volume III EP, Rootkit’s “Take a Shot” blends heavy industrial sound with Future House.

[Dark House/Future House:] Take a Shot – Rootkit

Fresh from the Confession label’s Alchemy Vol. 3  is a new song from Future House producer Rootkit. Track six on the album, “Take a Shot” combines heavy bass, and a dark atmospheric sound to create a future house track that exudes a full bodied, yet minimalist sound.

As the sampled voice in the background repeatedly commands “Take a Shot,” sounds of echoing synths and tribal sounding wails combine to creating a very industrial feel.

Preview the Alchemy Volume III EP here.

Also check out a previously blogged about remix of fellow label mate Tchami’s “World To Me” where Rootkit also adds a heavy atmospheric sound to the original track.

[Bass/Future House:] Tchami – World To Me (feat. Luke James) [Cazztek Remix]

Cazztek delivers a bass thumping, yet ethereal big room “feel” take on Tchami’s “World to Me”

Bass/Future House:

Tchami – World to Me (feat. Luke James) [Cazztek Remix]

Tchami’s “World to Me (feat. Luke James)” was one of the songs hot enough off his album to warrant its own EP. I’ve covered the Rootkit Remix & the Dillon Nathaniel Remix but there’s another flip just as epic that deserves not to be overlooked.

Cazztek’s remix of the song takes it in an interesting direction. A fusion of bass house, dance house and Future House this remix blends all these elements for an uplifting, atmospheric remix with plenty of energy.

A catchy beat and vocal sample play over the opening hook, “Baby, you should know/that you mean the world to me” with trance synths into a bass filled future house drop. The drop alone, heavy enough to fill dancefloors, refreshingly devolves back into broken down layers at the second chorus/full hook.

Ending out with warped bass and synths and then the return of the distorted vocal sample results in a song so upbeat, so funky, so different it’ll turn just about any person’s head.

Check it out above as well as more remixes from Tchami’s “Confession” label YouTube page.
