[Dance / House]: Kygo – Stole the Show

New release from Norwegian DJ and producer, KygoStole the Show” has a very original dance, house feel with what sounds like rainforest or pan flutes accentuating it’s calming, but funky rhythm. We’re left with a very chill track, perfect for rounding out a long day or relaxing at the end of one. The song’s music video is also noteworthy for a very different aesthetic approach featuring two “in love” astronauts and lots of breaking, waving, popping and locking. [FUTURE HOUSE / BASS]: Just A Kid – Swirling Skirt & [Deep House]: Deniz Milanov & Wanazama – Funky Sh!t

This absolutely floor-filling banger “Swirling Skirt” coming to us from EDM artist Just a Kid could certainly be a new club hit. The catchy driving rhythms to a very danceable beat result in a truly infectious house tune. Check it out above and find more a  slew of related free EDM tracks from a wide variety of artists in genres such as Chill Tropical, Deep House, Trap and more at EDM Lead.

We also have another house floor-filler in the deep house groove “Funky Sh!t” by Deniz Wanazama. A sick and grimey bassline drop segues into more dance like melodies before returning to the something that would immediately fit into any night clubs / venues “deep cuts” section of the night. [Future House:] Ba-kuura x Objectives – Make Out & [Trap / Dub] Flosstradamus & TroyBoi – Soundclashm

Another simply epic track out of the collective EDM group MVNGCSTL (Moving Castle), future house (or as described on a Youtube comment: advanced epic) hit “Make Out” by EDM artists Ba-kuura and Objectives. This smooth, chilled-out dance, R&B, house smasher samples Alicia Keys’ “Unthinkable (I’m Ready).” Many in the EDM community may recognize this sample from another smash house hit, “Stay” by Henry Krinkle or one of its many remixes.

Next up is trap banger “Soundclash” from two trap gods themselves’, Flosstradamus and TroyBoi. This collabo works particularly well here producing a spacey, trap banger incorporating trappy snares & hi-hats and some well known samples (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 DO IT! & the robotic letter vocals at the end). Both artists are well established in their own right; Flosstradamus being one of the artists that pioneered EDM trap music, and TroyBoi, a burgeoning British trap DJ on the come up in the EDM scene (one of his tracks was recently featured on the hit TV show Empire!)
More trap hits from both continued below:

Classic, possibly one of Floss’ most iconic, influential tracks “Test Me” with DJ Sliiink

[Hyper House/Future Dance]: Jack Ü – To Ü (Feat. AlunaGeorge)

Featuring one of my favorite electronic acts, British singer/DJ duo Alunageorge, comes “To Ü,” arguably one the best songs off of Skrillex and Diplo’s new album Skrillex and Diplo Present Jack Ü. AlunaGeorge is comprised of British singer/DJ Duo Aluna Francis and George Reid.

The group experienced a rise in popularity following the release of their first single “You Know You Like It” from their 2013 album, Body Music. This single became even more popular, as did the group themselves after rising superstar DJ Snake made a massive remix of the song in 2013. The remix was featured in a continuous megamix by dubstep DJ duo Adventure Club (Superheroes Anonymous Vol. 3) and by 2014, had become popular enough to warrant receiving its own music video.

[Underground EDM/Jersey Club] Wanna Love U – Vices

More house Jersey Club style music from Moving Castle’s mixtape “Vol. 3” comes Vices’ “Wanna Luv U”. An anonymous Soundcloud member commented, saying the track is “[on] another level of club music.” They were probably on to something as this club track with strong future house/EDM feels, is downright groovy.Cleverly “stuttered” vocals accentuate the floor-filling baseline and go great with the dance room energy inherent throughout the song.

Popular EDM artist ViLLAGE remixes Sia’s hit song Chandelier adding his own layer of smooth beats and sultry vocals for a chilled out version of the pop hit by Sia. Both ViLLAGE and Sia have had a good year for themselves in 2014 becoming ever more popular and as artists to continue to watch through 2015.

Destructo (feat. Problem) – Dare You 2 Move [Deep House / Progressive UK Garage House]

Appearing on popular French DJ, Tchami’s mix appearing on Diplo’s BBC Radio One mix-hour, “Diplo and Friends” comes a scorching hot EDM track from Los Angeles hailing Destructo.

Pairing up with the equally hard, California based rapper Problem, the duo delivers a floor pounding, bass thumping anthem centered around a simple, but catchy piano melody. The beat building intro segues perfectly into the core of the song which commands the listener, “I dare you to move,” and then drops the heavy bass beat, laden with heavily distorted “womp womp” like synths.

Be sure to check out this truly funky track heavily influenced by UK Garage house music.
