Destructo (feat. Problem) – Dare You 2 Move [Deep House / Progressive UK Garage House]

Appearing on popular French DJ, Tchami’s mix appearing on Diplo’s BBC Radio One mix-hour, “Diplo and Friends” comes a scorching hot EDM track from Los Angeles hailing Destructo.

Pairing up with the equally hard, California based rapper Problem, the duo delivers a floor pounding, bass thumping anthem centered around a simple, but catchy piano melody. The beat building intro segues perfectly into the core of the song which commands the listener, “I dare you to move,” and then drops the heavy bass beat, laden with heavily distorted “womp womp” like synths.

Be sure to check out this truly funky track heavily influenced by UK Garage house music.

Smooth House Remix of Baauer’s “One Touch (feat. AlunaGeorge)” by Chocolate Flip & Luca Lush

Shortly after the release of “One Touch” by electronic artist and man behind the hit “Harlem Shake” song, Baauer, which evolved into a full-blown Internet meme, remixes of the song began popping up on blogs and music sites. One of the smoother and more IDM (Intelligent Dance Music) type remixes was done by the collaboration of EDM artists Chocolate Flip and Luca Lush.

Their remix adds a spacey sound to One Touch to create the backdrop of synths, bass combining harmoniously with Aluna Francis’ dreamy vocals.

Notables:

I will make you a sunset view
Gonna make it so you gonna want to
Get your hands involved with me
And you’re never gonna feel empty

Dub Electro House Remix: Animals (Gryffin Remix) – Maroon 5

One of the better remixes of a mainstream artist to come down the pipeline in the EDM world, Gryffin’s remix of Maroon 5’s “Animals” adds a progressive electro vibe to the original. With a slow, smooth tempo that gradually adds increasing layers of electronic sounds this track feels right at home among other house and dance hits.

[NEW ATL Hip-Hop/Rap] About The Money (feat. Young Thug) – T.I.

Atlanta artist Young Thug has been everywhere lately after his single “Danny Glover” which had an explosive remix featuring Nicki Minaj has been taking over airwaves in Atlanta. The latest track he is featured on now has a video, T.I.’s “About The Money.” Young Thug can be found making his distinctive…uh, we’ll call them signature “ad-libs” in between T.I.’s raps (Young Thug:  AI! BOOM! // Turn up, a what they say AAH! // A n*gga boom what!!) and telling us how hard he flosses riding with gators, AND, his shoes are Giuseppe. got damn. For a sudden rapper to appear on the scene it seems Young Thug is doing pretty good for himself…time will tell if he will move past being a couple-hit wonder and become a staple of Southern music.

New Gucci Mane – Texas Margarita ft. Young Dolph & Dr. Phil

New Gucci Mane - Texas Margarita ft. Young Dolph & Dr. Phil

Gucci Mane dropped a new track yesterday (March 25th) titled “Texas Margarita.” Produced by London on Da Track the single is more “Gucci” type music, and there’s nothing inherently wrong with that. [credits: allhiphop.com for the story]

The chorus could have been a bit more inventive (guess what the lyrics to it are!), but regardless this track will definitely be “boomin'” and “bunkin'” for most folks especially when/if it gets airplay. Gucci’s last official mixtape was the “Trap Back 2” and his last studio album was “The State Vs. Radric Davis 2: The Caged Bird Sings.” In between those releases he has released several unofficial mixtapes which can be found at sites like Datpiff and LiveMixtapes.
