[Funny Memes] I AM DISGUSTED!!
[Funny Memes] “I am disgusted”
(2015) I Am Disgusted
Origin: Real Housewives of Atlanta
This hilariously exploitable meme originally comes from the Love & Hip-Hop Atlanta during a “tense” and serious scene where two women watch the sex tape of Mimi Faust. The meme usually involves a video depicting something grotesque, annoying, disappointing, shocking or just straight disgusting cutting suddenly to the scene from the show or overlaying the audio from said scene. The Love & Hip Hop star’s dramatic delivery of the phrase makes it hilariously exploitable.
Ariane’s friend is pretty livid about the tape and wastes no time laying into their friend, Mimi. Shortly after, she gets a “confessional-style” facing-the-camera aside where she exclaims “I am disgusted.” The phrase alone is funny enough in this situation, but her facial expression and delivery of the phrase make it even more over the top and hilarious. It doesn’t help there is what is supposed to be “sad, dramatic and serious music” playing in the background.
The result has led to videos with hundreds of thousands to millions of views ranging from using the meme to describe “the feeling when you discover your homework has a back [side]” to “Donald Trump stating that his daughter is beautiful and that he would date her [if he were her age].” Literally anything with a negative connotation or that causes negative feelings can be exploited with I Am Disguted. Here’s hoping the hilarity continues!
Funniest vine to grace Twitter in at least a week…maybe. #NiggaCantSpell Sleep Vine.
Check out this funny meme video of a guy rapping about sleep but somehow messes up his own lyrics. (well it’s your call, I thought he spelled it fine, but the rap and his friend’s antics make the video)
Funny memes: Vine: N*gga can’t spell!

Oh Balegdeh / Balegdeg what am I going to do with you. The internet has been laughing its collective asses off at the expense of Little Mix band member Jesy Nelson after an internet video where the band responded to fans and played games became suddenly hilarious. During a segment filmed for an internet website the band members were tasked with attempting to imitate accents of certain countries. Everything is going along smooth and dandy as the girls nail American accents, types of British accents and more until Nelson is selected to do a “Jamaican” accent and all hell breaks loose.
In an attempt to ready herself to do the accent, Nelson blurts out “Balegdeh” which instantly received a loud laugh from her fellow bandmate. The gravity and extent of her Balegdeh, however, was far to come.
See above video or below. In the situation stated in the caption, at some point you’re probably going to say “Balegdeh”. Don’t lie to yourself.
Oh Don’t Do it, OMG Dance Vine (original and compilation vines below:)
If you don’t know already and have been living under a rock, one of the newest Vine crazes is the “Oh Don’t Do it” / “Hoe Don’t Do It” OMG movement. I decided to do my own take on the song and dance, captioning my video with some funny comments. All jokes aside, the song has already hit viral/meme status and compilation videos on YouTube (like the one posted after the jump) are nearing 500,000+ to 1 million views.
The original video features a questionable black man getting ready to dance and asking his friend, the camera man if he is ready. His friend replies “BRUH just go for it right now, HERRY (hurry) UP!” A hip-hop/snap style instrumental plays in the background. Next the lyrics of the song say the now legendary “Oh/Hoe Don’t Do it! YAHH! Oh my god…” as the man from before proceeds to dance to the song. [NOTE: The original creator of this vine/song lyrics/movement is credited as to BDotAnthony5 or B.A. Brandon Armstrong, rapper, basketball player and fellow Chamblee High alum.
The video has become a meme of its own on Vine and several other social media platforms. There are several compilations featuring the song, many with a person or something about to happen, then at the “YAAAHH!! OMG!” the person usually does something disagreeable, gets smacked, a FAIL ensues, or just a general statement where you would see something and say “Oh my gawd,” and then probably shake your head in disapproval. The very hilarious trend is catching on, and has a song of it’s own and remixes.
UPDATE 5/18/15: I discovered the origin of this song and why it’s so damn funny! It was originally a song by unsigned hype rap group The Krew titled “Krew-Libs” a track they made simply for fun with random ad-libs to a beat.
Had a great nap a few min ago, and said on my social media accounts essentially, “I’m awake, now wassup” or as one of my favorite characters from Family Guy would put it, “NOW HOW U GONNA ACT.” Don’t ask me what possessed me or what fucked up mental demons I have that made me think of this, just laugh at it.
