NVDES are back at it again with a chill house cut 🎧
[Chill House/Ambient/Big Room:] NVDES – Louí
Check out this chill house cut from NVDES. The group has been gaining popularity after their song “D.Y.T. (Do Your Thing)” appeared in an Apple commercial for different styles of camera lighting.
Like “Do Your Thing,” “Louí” has a very chill vibe, even more so than the former. Lush house vibes and a calm, but steady beat are refreshingly reassuring for the house genre as a whole.
Cazztek delivers a bass thumping, yet ethereal big room “feel” take on Tchami’s “World to Me”
Bass/Future House:
Tchami – World to Me (feat. Luke James) [Cazztek Remix]
Tchami’s “World to Me (feat. Luke James)” was one of the songs hot enough off his album to warrant its own EP. I’ve covered the Rootkit Remix & the Dillon Nathaniel Remix but there’s another flip just as epic that deserves not to be overlooked.
Cazztek’s remix of the song takes it in an interesting direction. A fusion of bass house, dance house and Future House this remix blends all these elements for an uplifting, atmospheric remix with plenty of energy.
A catchy beat and vocal sample play over the opening hook, “Baby, you should know/that you mean the world to me” with trance synths into a bass filled future house drop. The drop alone, heavy enough to fill dancefloors, refreshingly devolves back into broken down layers at the second chorus/full hook.
Ending out with warped bass and synths and then the return of the distorted vocal sample results in a song so upbeat, so funky, so different it’ll turn just about any person’s head.
Check it out above as well as more remixes from Tchami’s “Confession” label YouTube page.
[Ambient Future House/Chill House:] Robbie G & Cureton – Here’s My Heart
After all the heavy EDM posts I figured I’d get back to some melodic and relaxing music. Selected music always has great choices when it comes to these categories and Robbie G & Cureton’s “Here’s My Heart” is no different. Filtered vocals, ambient chords and synths and boom clap percussions characteristic of ambient and future house combine for a melodic and entrancing ride in electronic music.
Bringing you a G-House banger (think the genre along the likes of BROHUG, Loge21, Dombresky and more) with a title that is true to its words. This song is going to give me nightmares of songs with bass that drops as hard and heavy as this. If you need something heavy going into 2018, don’t sleep on this one.
Bass House and EDM Producer Jauz went off on his remix of Skepta’s “Man.” With plenty of bass, UK Grime lyrics and flow, it’s a solid remix. This is probably one of the first few Skepta songs I have heard (and immediately liked). I have nothing against UK Grime or the UK scene, I’m just not heavy in it. After hearing this song however I might have to join the crew or the gang. *Salute
