[Future Pop / Dance:] SNBRN – Raindrops (feat. Kerli) [Prince Fox Remix] & Baby Bash “Suga Suga Remix” by Jerry Folk

Just in time for summer it’s a great remix of SNBRN‘s “Raindrops” by EDM producer Prince Fox featuring EDM songstress and solo artist in her own right, Kerli. I first heard Kerli on some nice, but ultimately average sounding EDM tracks on Soundcloud (namely I believe, “The Lucky Ones,” a very pop-influenced tune which really reminds me of fellow Pop/EDM songstress Ennovi. Either way Kerli sounds great here and Prince Fox makes a smooth remix sure to be a summer favorite. Enjoy! Be sure to support your artists by liking, following, subscribing and buying their music! Below you’ll find some more new tunes from SNBRN and other EDM artists and DJs.

Next up is 2 remixes of one of my favorite 90s-early 00s tunes “Suga Suga” which many around my age and older will remember from the chorus “You got me lifted, shifted, higher than the ceiling / and ooh wee it’s the ultimate feeling / Got me lifted, feelin’ so gifted, Suga how you get so fly…?”

Below a great remix sleeper hit on Soundcloud of La Roux’s “Bulletproof”

[Future Trap / Prog. Dance:] Sevyn Streeter – Don’t Kill the Fun [ARULE Remix] / & / [Rap / Smooth Hip-Hop:] Young Thug – Flava (feat. Rich Homie Quan & Birdman)

Check out ARULE’s amazing remix of Sevyn Streeter’sDon’t Kill the Fun” featuring Chris Brown. Combining elements of trap, future house and dance music this remix is club and dance ready and one of the more expertly polished remixes of Streeter’s single. You can download it for free on the Soundcloud page.

Second, we have Young Thug’sFlava” featuring fellow rappers Rich Homie Quan & Birdman off the Rich Gang: The Tour Part I EP. This track has just the right amount of hip-hop sound combined with a pinch of futuristic, chilled-out spacey sounds alongside a smooth echoing piano chord. Check out the Official video above.

[REMIX FEATURE: Tinashe’s “2 On”] from DJ Irresistible, Luca x Lush, and DJ Q [Jersey House, Future House/Chillwave & Deep House]

DJ Irresistible Jersey House Remix:

LUCA LUSH Remix:

DJ Q Deep House Remix:

This Remix Feature is on one of my favorite singles from California-based R&B songstress and dancer, Tinashe. “2 On” featuring Schoolboy Q is considered by many to be her break-out single that put her into the mainstream. I highlighted the song when it was first released, Drake’s “remix”, and the [at the time] a few select listenable EDM remixes shortly after it’s release. Chiefly, Wax Motif’s floor-filling dance remix, and TOKiMONSTA’s classy, seductive remix, which some fans very expertly choreographed in the link below.

By far two of the best remixes of Tinashe’s top 40/radio debut are by Jersey house DJ and producer, DJ Irresistible (check out another nice Jersey House remix here from DJ Poppa Dubb). Of note also is the Future House and alternative remakes by LUCA LUSH and DJ Q respectively.

[NEW Future Trap / Future House:] Cash Fargo – Undo Your Love // [Future Chillwave / Progressive House:] Class X – Away (Original Mix)

We’ve got two new Future classics for you today from EDM artists, DJs and producer Cash Fargo along with Class-X.
Our first is Los Angeles producer, Fargo’sUndo Your Love“, a transfixing smooth blend of house-y male vocals, much akin to Disclosure or Tchami, but with that indie, fresh, hipster feel (and I mean that in the best way possible). If songs like this are indicative of Cash Fargo’s work and overall sound, it’s safe to say we can expect him to be a rising name in the alternative EDM scene, slated to appear at alternative EDM venues and festivals (if he is not already).

If you’re looking for something a bit trappier Fargo’s remix of Future’sCovered ‘N Money” is great as well (see below:)

Next up (link below) is the chillwave progressive-house mélange of sounds in Netherlands DJ, Class-X’sAway“. With simply beautiful, relaxing piano arpeggios and a back-beat with elements grounded in house, but flirting between the lines of sounds more characteristic of Trance. Give the song a listen below and download it for free on Class-X’s Soundcloud.

[NEW FUTURE CHILL:] Mikos Da Gawd – Sparagus (with Tito Tunes) // KRS – Make Her Dance (Bandz A Make Her Dance Future Chill Remix)

Got some new future music for everybody out there. First we are highlighting the simply dreamy, serotonin-inducing aural roller-coaster ride that is “Sparagus” coming from EDM artists Mikos Da Gawd with help from Tito Tunes. Let your mind go for a ride as you mellow out to this future chillwave track.

Next up is an amazingly chill re-work of popular rap/trap hit “Bandz A Make Her Dance” originally by Juicy J. For this incredibly chill remix we highlight EDM artists KDS who has turned the trap banger anthem into a relaxed afternoon, bass-heavy future wave single. Chill is an understatement here and the use and variety of samples used is refreshing. Don’t sleep on this! Thumbs up all around here!!

[iLLUMiИUS Mixes] [House Blend & Hip-Hop Mix] iLLUMiИUS – Deeper Cuts (indie blend) // iLLUMiИUS ride out (2 this ATL)

Hope everyone is having a great week and a good Tuesday, regardless of whether you were at a club that was going up or not (couldn’t help myself). With the coming of Spring I have had a little bit more time to work on new mixes and original choreography. More people are out and about, and as the end of the semester approaches a well deserved break is around the bend as we transition into summer. In Atlanta, the fair weather already has the city more turnt than usual; I was recently enlisted to DJ at a small gathering downtown which was quite a fun, insightful experience (see video down below or click:).

[NEW Mix:] Deeper Cuts ’15 Vol. 2

IG Footage: Dropping Bouncin’ by DJ Bake & C4 at an ATL party/kickback. Jersey House in the building!

I’ve got two brand new mixes for you today released just in time for Spring as more of you are looking to turn up, travel or just enjoy good music. The first of my new mixes is an indie house blend, consisting of some eclectic and harder to find songs from the house and overall EDM genre, titled “Deeper Cuts.” Artists featured include: Thunderheist, Röyksopp, LCD SoundsystemFedde Le Grande, Nicky Romero featuring Matthew Koma and more…

Give it a listen (intended for long play, it’s about 30 min) or skim through and check it out where I hope you’ll find something you enjoy and can get down to. Check it out below, whether you want to sit back and chill through the course of the mix, or skim through and see if you find any new interesting songs, give it a listen. Be sure to comment as well, I will read them and like to see them no matter what they say.

My second mix I released about a week or two ago on Soundcloud, titled “ride out (2 This ATL)” is a mix of hip-hop and rap songs that you can ride out to. Several prominent rappers are featured, as well as a wide range of hip-hop and rap songs with a few trap tracks thrown in for good measure. This mix features artists such as: Gucci Mane, Chief Keef, Big Sean, Travi$ ScottCam’RonDej LoafKid InkRed Cafe, Juicy J and more…

Check it out above:

(noteBoth mixes are still rough cuts with further editing and changes pending.)

[Trap/Funk/House] NGHTMRE & SLANDER – Gud Vibrations // [EPIC House/Ambient & Smooth Chill Trap] Faded [Remixes]

The very funk inspired “Gud Vibrations” is quite a nice blend of trap and house sounds coming from the collaborative mind of EDM producers, NGHTMRE & Slander.

Next we have two incredible remixes of EDM artist Zhu’s “Faded.” The first comes from the remarkably talented EDM producer Enda who certainly injects a heavenly atmospheric vibe into the original. The result is an instantly chilling, instantly soothing ambient track to chill and vibe out to.

Another rising name in the EDM scene, Lido, also remixed “Faded” with a much more trappy, but still chill feel. This comparably slower version fits more in lounge type scenarios then in a dancehall or club but is still very moving. Check out both remixes and more from their artists above in the links. I have also reviewed Enda’s “It’s Alright” which can be found here:
